Crescent Roll Turkey Dogs!
For a while I have been wanting to make Pigs In A Blanket, well hot dogs are so gross, so I decided to try out Turkey Franks. Turkey Franks are so much better for you, and you don't have to worry about the pig intestines and cow brains and goat liver in them (tee hee). And since it was the Duck vs. Beaver game today, or The Civil War, it could be a foot ball snack, along with a nice bowl of cheesy chilli.
INGREDIENTS
~ 1 can of Pillsbury butter flake crescent rolls (Or how ever many it is for)
~ Turkey Franks from Foster Farms (or wherever you get them)
~ Shredded cheese (Sharp or Medium cheddar)
~ Can of chilli (or how ever many you need)
~ 1 can of Pillsbury butter flake crescent rolls (Or how ever many it is for)
~ Turkey Franks from Foster Farms (or wherever you get them)
~ Shredded cheese (Sharp or Medium cheddar)
~ Can of chilli (or how ever many you need)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Grease a cookie sheet with olive oil
Begin by slicing the turkey franks in half
Open the can of crescent rolls and roll them out onto the pan
Separate them so that they aren't sticking together...
place a turkey frank halve onto a crescent roll dough piece, near the wide part of the crescent roll dough...
Roll it up...
Now with the cheese, use some of the shredded cheese for on top of the crescent rolls...
put in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, I recommend 10 minutes.
While they are baking, begin making the chili...
I just opened a can of Nalley chilli and put it into a sauce pan and let it cook :)
When the crescent rolls are done, remove them from oven and serve up with the piping hot chilli.
Sprinkle cheese over the chilli.
I was in too much of a hurry to take the pictures of the food, that I forgot to sprinkle the cheese onto the chilli for the pictures, but when I ate it, I sprinkled the cheese over it. It was so yummy!
Yumm!!
