Healthful Cookies
I was looking through my blog the other day, and my posts from last year around this time are so cute and so pretty to look at and then I compared them to this year's posts.... they are kind of jumbled to me and not as attractive or pretty to look at. CAL has taken a lot of my time, and I have been not in the mood to blog. For the past couple of days, I have been a blogging frenzy! I need to blog about something. I decided to make these super nutritious cookies I found on Pinterest. It requires only four ingredients, and they are super tasty! I have only one picture... I did take more with my camera but I am facing some technical difficulties with my camera. So, when I finally get those pictures off my camera, I will add them to the post.
These cookies can also be called Breakfast cookies. You can add raisins instead of chocolate chips. You can use any kind of nut butter instead of peanut butter, if you can't have nuts, I'm sure apple butter works too. There are lots of different ingredients you can substitute in and out for your dietary purposes, but this is the recipe that I went by, and my whole family loved them! Perfect for the morning when you want something sweet and healthy.
Healthful Cookies
*2 ripe bananas (without peels)
*1 cup dry oats (or quick oatmeal)
*1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or dark)
*1 heaping spoonful of all-natural or raw peanut butter
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together, there is no certain order that the ingredients need to be in. Mix all together till the bananas are mashed up and the peanut butter is mixed in with the oats and chocolate chips. Grease a cookie sheet with coconut oil or olive oil, and plop the dough into medium sized heaps. Bake for 15 minutes.

When you make them, I hope you enjoy them! They were super tasty and super easy to make. You can also make a huge batch of them and freeze them for later. I am going to experiment with this recipe and add more things to it to make it a complete breakfast cookie. I will post those recipes on here and on pinterest if you are interested.
