Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Leaving the eggs out of your cookie dough actually makes the whole process of making cookie dough much quicker. It also leaves the cookie dough salmonella-risk free. When I make regular cookie dough, I usually don't care, but I wanted to try eggless today. There actually isn't much of a difference... Also, this cookie dough is for eating only, there is no baking soda or powder in the cookies, and I'm not sure how well they would bake. The dough is sure tasty though!
eggless cookie dough
~2 cups unbleached flour
~1 tsp. salt
~3/4 cup butter (melted)
~3/4 cup packed brown sugar
~1/2 cup white sugar
~2 TBsp vanilla extract
~4 TBsp milk
~chocolate chips
Mix up the ingredients in any order you'd like in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Dig in!
It's really that simple. I mixed mine in the order I have it listed, and I used almond milk instead of dairy milk.
Here it is in collage form
And of course the chocolate chips.
The cookie dough is delightful!
I also wanted a reason to show off my tea in a mason jar. I made tea in a mason jar earlier today, and it is so cute, I had to show it off.
This is the inspiration...
And this is my jar of tea...with the cookie dough!
I love the awesome quotes that Yogi teas put on the paper that holds the tea bag.
I think the saying was appropriate for cookie dough.
I'd say this was a pretty great recipe find. This was certainly a yummy recipe find.
