One Ingredient Banana Ice Cream

I am always trying to find healthy recipes that are not only nutritious, but tasty as well. Since the weather is warming up, and the days are longer, ice cream season is just around the corner. Regular ice cream can be fattening, but this one ingredient banana ice cream is guilt free. I first heard about banana ice cream from of the bloggers I follow on instagram, then my Aunt told me about banana ice cream, and I decided to give it a try.
This is a seriously easy recipe. It takes two to four bananas, depending on how many people you are feeding. You peel the bananas, cut them or break them into four to five pieces, drop them in the blender, and blend them up. Blend it on LOW, or use a hand blender. You do not want your bananas turned into liquid.
Once it is blended, put it in a container and keep it in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours.

Here is the recipe in easy-to-read form.

-2 to 4 bananas
-hand blender/stand up blender
-toppings of your choosing

First, peel the bananas, and break them up into pieces. Take the hand mixer or put the blender on low and blend the bananas until smooth. Pour the blended bananas into a container and put it in the freezer for one to two hours. Scoop or spoon out into dishes (or eat out of the container), and put on preferred toppings. Enjoy!

I put frozen black berries and milk chocolate chips on my ice cream.
This ice cream was very good!
I love the simplicity of this recipe. I love when there are simple ingredients, especially on items I purchase.
I love the fact that I made this, and it was incredibly easy, incredibly tasty, and healthy!
I will definitely be enjoying this when the weather becomes warmer, and most of my time will be spent outside.
