Breakfast Medley

Summer is the season of fresh fruit, fresh breakfasts, and color. The summer season has inspired me to create a beautiful, colorful, and healthy breakfast bowl. These are very easy to mimick, and super yummy to eat. It is more fun eating the breakfast bowl outside on the patio when it is a hot, summer morning. It makes waking up all the more sweeter knowing there is a beautiful breakfast waiting.
These breakfast bowls are so easy to make, and pleasing to the eye.

Ingredients:
-blueberries
-1 cup of red raspberries
-1 carton of red raspberry yogurt
-black grapes
-blackberries
-banana
-1 cup oatmeal
-1/4 cup granola

First, begin by making the oatmeal. You can use instant, or dry oats, but start the kettle, and let the oats soak in water. You can add flavor you wish, I added brown sugar to mine. Next, In a blender, mix together half of the raspberries with the yogurt. This gives the yogurt a nice, pink color. Pour some on a  plate or a bowl. Do not pour all of it, you can drink the rest as a smoothie. The yogurt and raspberry mixture creates a lovely sauce for the medley. I put a plate on top of a bowl just to give it some height and show off all of the ingredients. Now, you can add in the fruit. Arrange the fruit as you wish, but leave room for the oatmeal and granola. When it is all arranged, mix it up and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes an enjoy.
Oatmeal tastes delicious chilled, especially with cold berries and cold fruit, and covered by a delicious yogurt raspberry sauce. It was absolutely delicious. I will be making this again with different fruit, and in different colors.
