Homemade Bubble Tea
I love bubble tea so much that I wanted to make it at home! I went on Amazon, and purchased a bag of tapioca pearls for less than a bubble tea that I would purchase from Fat Straw or Braganza. Now I can have bubble tea always and save money! I was super excited about making my own bubble tea, that making the boba was the first thing I did when I woke up this morning. I wanted to include a few chocolatey beverage recipes that include boba. That is basically the only flavor of bubble tea that I will drink. I love matcha, and green tea, but coffee or chocolate is perfect.
You will need:
1 cup of chocolate milk
2 tablespoons of caramel sauce
Coffee
3 tablespoons of boba
Mix together the caramel sauce and chocolate milk in a separate cup. In another cup, scoop cold boba into the cup. In the same cup that you mixed the caramel sauce and chocolate milk, pour the coffee into the cup and stir it. Pour the coffee into the cup with the boba, and there you go!
You will need:
1 & 1/2 cups of chilled green tea
Chocolate milk
1 tablespoon of honey
2 to 3 tablespoons of boba.
Simple. Mix together the green tea and the chocolate milk. Drop the boba in the cup, and squeeze the honey in the cup. Stir and serve.
The green tea is the base for the, and the chocolate milk adds flavor. I unfortunately do not have the straws yet. I also ordered fat straws so I can suck the boba up with the drink, but they won't arrive until the middle of September.
I am seriously so excited about this boba! I will post more fun drink recipes that you can add boba to. For some people, boba isn't their thing. That is totally fine, bubble tea is different. That is why it is fun! I love, love, love bubble tea. It is so fun that I am able to make boba at home now. It will bevfun to make blended drinks and add boba to them, instantly making boba tea. This is my favorite beverage!
