10 Things I Am Thankful For

Today was a very long, 6 hour, one class day. I am exhausted, and a bit overwhelmed by Chemistry. To help myself relieve some stress, I think about the important things, and the things I am thankful for in my life. They are good things to think about, especially when you are stressed out or overwhelmed, cheerful things.
So, to begin, I am thankful for...

1.) Family: this is a large category because I have a large extended family. I am thankful that I have both of my parents, thankful for my sister, my granparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, everybody that I consider family, I am so thankful for them. They are always there for me!
2.) Friends: The few friends that I have are amazing and wonderful. I don't a fleet of friends, when that happens, relationships aren't very close, and contact can be lost quickly. They are to talk to, hang out with, help you out, friends are practically everything! And I have the very best of people as my close friends.
3.) Intelligence: Yes. I am thankful for being smart. It will get me far.
4.) Being an American
5.) A roof over my head
6.) More than enough food to eat
7.) My job: After filling out almost 200 job applications over the Summer, and receiving only three calls back, it really stressed me out. Now that I have a job, and I enjoy it, I am thankful that I have a job, with good hours, and friendly people. It will help me get to where I want to go.
8.) My health
9.) My blog: My blog has connected with me with so many amazing people, and so many amazing opportunities. I am thankful that I was inspired one day, and just started my blog, and now it is growing, and leading to friendships, and super fun opportunities.
10.) For coffee: no joke. I am thankful for coffee. I would be yawning, embarrassingly a lot without coffee. Also, because it tastes great.

I wanted to share this adorable photo of Quincy and I. It was taken on Sunday at Wahkeenah Falls, when we were celebrating my Grandma's birthday. Her personality is beaming :) She is so fun. Thankful for this little sweet face.
That was also the day that my braid was perfect. ;)

I hope today was not an exhausting day for everybody, I hope that it was somewhat enjoyable. :)

    1. Aww. Thank you! The cheerful things, my family, my friends, they really do motivate me, and support me. It is a great feeling when I remember what really matters, and what is the most important... And it isn't getting a good grade, or being on time, it is family. But good grades, and being timely are important things, just not as important as family.

  3. Now that I'm physically separated from my family and close friends when I'm away for college, I really do feel a lot more thankful for them haha. Can't wait to see everyone again over the breaks :) -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
