Breast Cancer Awareness

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month,mI wanted to spread some Pink support around. Last year, I went elaborate by making Breast Cancer Awareness cupcakes with white chocolate ribbons on the frosting. They were pretty cute. This year, I don't really have the time to go all out, but I still wanted to help raise awareness. It is very convenient that Breast Cancer awareness month is in October because then I can raise awareness during Halloween when the pinked out pumpkins! I did not pink out a pumpkin, I did do a little awareness on a little pumpkin. I have pink out pumpkin plans next year.
I painted my little white pumpkin with my Aerie nail polish that I got last year. I bought it to support Breast Cancer Awareness, and it was a pretty color. I also painted my nails today to help raise awareness. This is what I mean by simple, pumpkin painting and nail painting to help raise awareness.
I'm no nail artist, but I think my little ribbon is really cute. After looking on pinterest for ideas, I now have a long list of things that I want to do for next October.
I feel very strongly about breast cancer because it is a serious issue, and one in eight women get breast cancer. I show my support to all of the women who are dealing with breast cancer. My heart goes out to all of those women. So let's all raise awareness, and make donations to cancer studies so we can wipe out breast cancer!
I found this awesome graphic from InkHappi, and thought it was awesome. I needed to share it!
Well, it is the weekend for me! I am thinking up projects to fill my weekend, and to share. I hope you all have a great weekend! Raise awareness! Wear a pink ribbon on shirt, or participate in a run that raises money to go toward cancer research. October is PINK month! Show your support. :)
