Liepold Farms Pumpkin Patch
Today was the perfect day for my family to pay a visit to Liepold Farms Pumpkin Patch. It was packed! We went to Liepold Farms because a lot of Brittney's friends works there, and she wanted to say hello. It is a beautiful pumpkin patch, totally family friendly that provides a smattering of fun activities. It was a perfect day, not too hot, and not too cold, but cold enough to wear a sweater. When we arrived, my sister and I went to locate her friends, and my dad and mom went to go try some pumpkin ale. Now Brittney wants to work there, at Liepold Farms next year, I think she would be perfect for that. I wanted to get a few pumpkins for a project that I want to do for Halloween, it is a no-carve solution and I am very excited about it. At the pumpkin patch, we knew almost everybody who was there, being that the farm is in our community. It really is a beautiful farm, and it was all decked out with gourds, and hay bales. We ended up getting two big pumpkins, five small pumpkins, and I bought a bag of Frosted Pop Corn. I love sweet pop corn! It smells, and tastes of Fall. It was a fun, family day.
My dad was laughing because I was really getting into the whole atmosphere of the pumpkin patch, and being overly excited about it.
We thought it was neat that Mt. Hood was right there! But that tree is in the way. It is still pretty cool.
I have never heard of Frosted popcorn, it smells like caramel corn, but tastes slightly different. It is addicting after the first few handfuls. :)
Super fun day! Now I have to work on chemistry and anthropology, the best way to end a Sunday night. What did you do this weekend? I want to hear about it! Tell me about your weekend in the comments.
