Neutrogena Naturals
I have been using Neutrogena for years to wash and makeup my face. I loved the fact that it is dermatologist tested, and that they are all about clear skin. I stopped using Neutrogena for a while because I really wanted to start using all natural beauty products. Of course, I still use some beauty products that aren't all natural, but I like to use my natural beauty products for the most part. Around the time that I would only use natural products on my body was the time that Neutrogena Naturals came out. It was almost like it was begging me to come back and use the brand, like they tailor made it for me. It's funny how coincidences happen like that.
The next Neutrogena Naturals product that I tried (and loved for that matter) was the Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. Since I am a part of a blogger community called influenster, I was sent a package of these makeup remover towelettes to try. I love these facial towelettes because they take off my makeup quickly, and they cleanse my face. I really am thankful for them for the times when I stay up really late, and I am too tired to do my whole nightly beauty regime (that rarely happens. If I stay up late, and I am too tired, I just go through the motions of my nightly skin care regime).
I first tried their Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover cleanser. I love basic cleansers, so I had to try it out. I really loved the scent. It wasn't too overpowering, and it really took off all of my makeup quickly. I enjoyed using Neutrogena Naturals, but I moved onto other facial cleansers and I collected other brands (I took pride in my giant skincare collection that I had). A few months ago, I went for Neutrogena Naturals again. I was having a skin issue, and I badly wanted it resolved. I refused to go with the big Fortune 500 company that always advertises their product by saying, "Your skin will look better overnight!" I just don't think that it is very true. I also didn't like the idea of harsh chemicals on my skin, so I went with Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming Scrub. I knew that I could trust Neutrogena Naturals to not have harsh chemicals in their skincare. On their product bottles, and on their site, they repeat themselves by saying that there are no harsh chemicals, parabens, sulfates, there are no dyes, or phthalates in their products.
Since I am a person who cares about her Earth, I also like to invest a little more in ecologically friendly products. I love the fact that my skincare products are ecologically friendly. For the Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming Scrub, I found that the scent was beautiful, and natural, much like the Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover cleanser. Using the Acne Foaming Scrub became a divine beauty ritual every time I used the scrub, and it actually helped my face. A lot of products helped my face during the time that I had my unfortunate skin issue, but more recently, Neutrogena Naturals has been my blemish-treatment cleanser of choice. I love that the scrub isn't harsh. Some scrubs are so harsh that they make your skin raw, but definitely not Neutrogena Naturals Acne Scrub. It gently exfoliates your skin, and your face feels genuinely clean after cleansing. On the Neutrogena Naturals website, it states what this product promotes. I am glad that this product promotes clean water, because there are no harsh chemicals to pollute the water. It also is packaged in Post Consumer Recycled Plastic, and it was never tested on animals! I love companies that are against animal cruelty. The fun part about this product is that it also promotes renewable energy. That is so neat! My facial scrub does all of that. I find that to be so beautiful. By buying natural, eco-friendly products, you have such an impact on the earth. It may seem small like a small impact, but with every use, you are actually saving the planet.
Neutrogena Naturals harnesses nature to help care for our skin. They utilize bio nutrients in the cleansers to boost healthy skin. These bio nutrients are found in nature, and even in our skin! With using these awesome, natural, powerful bio nutrients, they support the skin's natural functions. The natural, acne-fighting bio nutrients found in the Acne Foaming Scrub is wintergreen. It is a great source for naturally derived salicylic acid, which is what is found in most acne treatment cleansers. Salicylic acid is a common treatment for acne and blackheads. It helps dissolve the acne topically, while deep cleaning to remove dirt from pores.
The next Neutrogena Naturals product that I tried (and loved for that matter) was the Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. Since I am a part of a blogger community called influenster, I was sent a package of these makeup remover towelettes to try. Like the other Neutrogena Naturals products that I have tried, the scent of the makeup remover towelettes is so pretty. I really enjoy using products when they have a pretty smell. This product was also never tested on animals, but unfortunately the packaging was not from recycled plastic. The towelettes do, however support clean water and they support no water waste since you don't have to use water with these towelettes to cleanse your face. They also promote renewable energy much like the Acne Foaming Scrub. The bio nutrient found in these makeup remover cleansing towelettes is the Peruvian Tara Seed. The Peruvian Tara Seed promotes hydration in the skin from within by strengthening the skin's moisture barriers. Tara Seed is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B, and complex sugars. Vitamin C is something that your body needs, especially your skin. It helps with anti-aging, and it brightens dull skin. I like to use the makeup remover cleansing towelettes to cleanse my face before I wash it with a facial cleanser and water. Some of the facial cleansers I use at night isn't meant for removing makeup, so I remove my makeup beforehand with the Neutrogena Naturals towelettes. My face feels so clean after I wipe my face with the towelettes, and my skin feels nourished and pampered.
Another aspect about Neutrogena Naturals that I LOVE is the fact that their site is 100% powered by nature. The Neutrogena Naturals website is one of the first to be served on a Green Server. Their mission is to reduce their carbon footprint, and use energy from nature, like wind power and solar power. They have used 0% energy from electricity, and are fully powered by solar panels and windmills. That is so neat, and so incredibly inspiring.
I hope that you join in on the beauty Neutrogena Naturals promotes. It's not only beauty that is skin deep, but the beauty of taking care of our planet.
