Fresh Spring Look With Younique

Who likes to change up their makeup routines to roll with the seasons? Well I do! For Winter, I took advantage of the darker eyes, and heavier makeup, but for Spring, I am choosing to do pretty pastel eyes, and lighter makeup. I wanted to share this makeup routine because it is quick, easy, and perfect for Spring. I am going to be using a lot of pinks and light colors in my makeup routine this season, and I am going to start off with this fresh, Spring look.

 

Using the Addiction Shadow Palette #3 from Younique, I have created a simple eye makeup routine that anyone could do. This palette has such pretty pinks and purples that create such a pretty Spring look. 

I first put on the Eye Primer on my lids, and I begin with the pigment Tickled on my lid, using the Deluxe brush. I lightly tap the pigment on my eye lids, and I sweep the pigment to smooth it and blend it. Next, I use the Deluxe Brush and tap it in Ecstatic, and I gently pat Ecstatic over Tickled to create a rose gold color. I use the Deluxe brush again to blend Ecstatic into my crease and I slowly drag it upward to my brow bone. I line my eyes with Perfect black eyeliner, and I use the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ mascara on my lashes to complete the look. 

To create the rest of my Spring look, I used:

-Glorious Face & Eye Primer

-Mineral Touch Pressed Powder foundation in Organza

-Moodstruck Minerals Pressed Blusher in Sweet (on the apples of my cheeks and swept up to just below 

  my temples, and blended in.) 

-Beachfront Bronzer in Sunset (for contouring just under my cheek bones for a "lift")  

-Eye Primer

-Addiction Shadow Palette #3

-Moodstruck Opulence Lipstick in Upscale. 

I have been using Younique for months, and now it is the only makeup that I wear. I trust and experience the makeup's quality daily, and when it makes me look beautiful, I feel beautiful. 

I have never been one for extravagant makeup; I like simple makeup looks with a fancy flare. Every once in a while, I will do my makeup with a little more extravagance, but this Spring, I am going for simple and pretty. I love showing and taking in my natural beauty. I used to think I wasn't very pretty without makeup on, but after a long project of learning to be happy with my bare face, simple makeup is all I really like to do. Simple for Spring. :)
